The role emphasizes thorough documentation, patient comfort, and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff. A High School diploma, CNA certification, and BLS are required, with at least six months in acute or long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must have good and regular attendance.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to organize tasks, develop action plans, set priorities and function under stressful situations.
• Ability to maintain a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional nursing personnel in providing patient care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Record vital signs and document accurately.
• Prepare rooms and supplies for patient admissions and transfers.
• Support with admissions, transfers and discharges under RN direction.
