Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide
• List on the state aide registry with a clear record able to deliver care to patients
• 18 years of age unless state law dictates otherwise
• Valid drivers license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements or reliable transportation preferred

What You’ll Do

The Hospice CNA IPU Certified Nurse Assistant Inpatient Unit works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patients personal comfort needs at the unitThe CNA is responsible for observing the patient reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performedPerforming personal care needs after given a patients assignment and attending to hisher requests promptlyMeeting safety needs of patient and using equipment safely and properly foot stools side rails O2 etcGiving personal care including baths back rubs oral hygiene shampoos and changing bed lined as often as assignedReporting on patients condition and significant changes Also aware of the caregiver or other individuals visiting with the patient and interpersonal issuesAdhering to the organizations documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conductNow offering up to 26hour offer based on years of experience
