Penn Medicine on the 4 South unit seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver quality care under RN supervision, assist with patient assessments, daily activities, and collaborate with the care team.

You will follow infection control practices, monitor safety, document vitals, and support education and post-mortem care under supervision. High school diploma and CNA program completion required; BCLS and CPR are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of a certified CNA program or enrolled in ASN/BSN with GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• PA state CNA certification or enrollment status required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and communicate reports with the RN at shift start and end.
• Assist with vital signs, data collection, and observations.
• Support daily activities: bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols; monitor fall risk.
• Participate in rounds and collaborate with the care team.
• Assist with treatments under RN supervision and provide patient education.

Education
