Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our nursing team. Under the supervision of the registered nurse, you will support and assist in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will perform daily living activities, collect patient data, monitor vital signs, and coordinate with the care team to ensure patient comfort and safe discharge planning. This role requires teamwork and strict adherence to clinical standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification required.
• State CNA certification for Pennsylvania required.
• BLS and CPR certifications required for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Report to RN at the start of each shift with the care plan.
• Report any abnormalities to RN promptly.
• Assist with data collection, vital signs, and patient measurements.
• Perform activities of daily living and patient safety tasks.
• Follow infection control, safety, and patient care protocols.

Education

H.S. Diploma/GED

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Pennsylvania CNA certification

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)

CPR certification (AHA)
