Job summary

Cypress Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our afternoon shift team (2PM – 10PM). You will provide personalized patient care, monitor vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans.

This role emphasizes compassionate, high‑quality care, precise documentation, safe patient handling, and infection prevention.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of Texas.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, assistance with activities of daily living, and medication administration
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and services provided
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Promote a safe and infection-free environment for patients and staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care
