Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Certification in Patient Care (CNA/EMT/Paramedic/PC Tech, etc.)
• Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate (preferred)
• BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and current
• Six months Monitor Technician experience preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• EKG certification preferred
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Minimum six months experience in acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitor.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care.
• Maintain a safe environment under RN direction and supervision, within CNA I scope of practice.
