Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a CNA I for the ICCU on the night shift. This full-time role involves assisting patients with daily living activities and maintaining a safe, clean environment under the direction of a registered nurse.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, completion of the NAI program, and current NA I registry status, with mandatory Medication Safety (AME) and SC restrictive intervention training within 3 months of hire. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean environment under RN supervision.
• Document care provided and communicate accurately with the care team.
• Support nursing staff in ongoing patient care and safety initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience:
  • One year preferred.
  • One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Completion of NAI program, required.
  • Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
  • Medication Safety - AME, required.
  • SC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
