Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a CNA I for the Intermediate Care Unit on a full-time basis. The position supports patients with activities of daily living and maintains a safe, clean environment under the supervision of a registered nurse. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for 1 year in long-term care or assisted living.

Completion of NAI program and NA I registry listed, plus medication safety training, are required. Relocation assistance up to $7,500 is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience preferred; 1 year in assisted living or long-term care.
• Completion of NAI program and listed as NA I.
• Medication Safety - AME required.
• NC state approved restrictive interventions curricula within 3 months of hire.

CNA I Progressive Care Unit Full Time Days Job Summary:

Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: 1 year, preferred. 1 year in Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. Medication Safety - AME, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
