Novant Health is hiring a CNA I for the Progressive Care Unit on the night shift (7:00pm–7:00am). This full-time position includes relocation assistance up to $7,500 and works in the Intermediate Care Unit. The role supports daily living activities and maintains a safe patient environment under RN supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, NA I listing, and Medication Safety - AME. Experience in long-term care or assisted living is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required to start.
• 1 year of experience preferred; 1 year in assisted living or long-term care is required.
• NA I program completion and NA I registry listing; Medication Safety - AME; NC curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.

CNA I Progressive Care Unit Full Time Nights Job Summary:

Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: 1 year, preferred. 1 year in Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. Medication Safety - AME, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
