Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in admission of patients to the unit, including orientation to the unit and equipment.
• Respond to patient needs with direct assistance or by reporting needs.
• Assist with implementation of nursing plan of care by carrying out delegated tasks.
• Maintain patient safety and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Access medication/supply room to retrieve patient care items.
• Maintain a well-stocked, clean patient environment.
• Participate in cost containment and accurate charging for patient services.
• Engage in educational and Performance Improvement activities.
• Demonstrate responsibility for customer satisfaction, patient throughput and HIP compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
