Job summary

Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn, NC seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant I for the Emergency Department on a per diem/part-time basis. You will perform basic patient care, assist with admissions, and respond to patient needs while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced ED setting.

Responsibilities include supporting nursing plans, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and helping ensure patient throughput and satisfaction. CNA certification and NC registry are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Current registration with NC Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in admission of patients and orient to unit and equipment.
• Respond to patient needs with direct assistance or by notifying the appropriate person.
• Carry out delegated tasks to implement the nursing plan of care.
• Maintain patient safety and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, stocked patient environment and assist with charging for services.
