Job summary

Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support nursing staff in direct patient care at the Towson campus. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, safety, and routine tasks under the supervision of a nurse.

Required are a High School Diploma or equivalent, Maryland CNA registration, and CPR certification. English literacy, basic computer skills, and 6 months of care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months direct patient care experience preferred.
• Current Maryland CNA I or CNA II registration with the Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification (Heart Saver).
• Ability to read/write English and communicate basic patient care information.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, comfort, and safety under direct nurse supervision.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and routine measurements.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Use electronic medical records as trained.
• Maintain and stock patient rooms and supplies.
