Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Ability to read, write and understand English for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides care, comfort, and safety under direct supervision of a nurse.
• Assists with activities of daily living and basic patient care tasks.
• Observes patients and reports changes to nursing staff.
• Assists with feeding, bed changes, and linen care.
• Operates EKG machine and basic nursing procedures as directed.
• Maintains clean and stocked patient rooms and records observations.
• Goes on rounds and supports patient admission, transfer, and discharge as directed.
