Job summary

A local healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated hospice aide in Havre, Montana. The role involves assisting with hospice nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring the safe delivery of quality services. Candidates must possess a High School diploma, be a certified nurse aide in Montana, and have current BLS certification. Qualifications

  • Certified Nurse Aide by the State of Montana.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Previous CNA experience required; minimum of one year experience in long-term care or acute care setting preferred.
  • Valid Montana driver's license and current automobile insurance.
  • Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen.
  • Previous CNA experience required; minimum of one year in long-term care or acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the provision of hospice nursing care under the supervision of a hospice registered nurse.
  • Ensure safe delivery of quality aide services in accordance with the hospice aide plan of care.
  • Support patient comfort, dignity, and quality of care in all tasks.

About the role

To assist in the provision of hospice nursing care in accordance with a specific hospice aide plan of care for assigned patients as developed by and under the supervision of a hospice registered nurse. To assure the safe delivery of quality aide services which support the mission and philosophy of Bear Paw Hospice.

Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Certified Nurse Aide by the State of Montana.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Ability to interpret and apply verbal and written instructions.
  • Valid Montana driver's license and current automobile insurance.

Salary is commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
