Job summary

AuthoraCare Collective is seeking a Hospice CNA Float (Home Care/Long Term Care) for a full-time role (40 hours per week). Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Every Other Weekend, 8:00am - 4:30pm, supporting Guilford and Davidson Counties.

CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. The position provides compassionate, basic personal care under a Registered Nurse, helping patients and families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Nursing Assistant program with basic computer skills.
• Currently NA I with NC DHS and clean record.
• CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross BLS) required.
• English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Valid driver's license and own transportation.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Nursing Assistant program and familiarity with basic computer skills and functions.
• Currently listed as NA I with NC Department of Human Services with no substantiated findings of neglect, abuse or misappropriation of resident property.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Must have excellent telephone communication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as NA II or NA I in Hospice, home health or oncology.
• Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
