Job summary

Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a caring CNA for our Port Charlotte, FL location on a PRN night shift (8:00 pm–8:30 am) with a 64-hour monthly commitment. You perform personal care per the Plan of Care, recognize and report changes to the nurse, preserve patient confidentiality, and work within your Hospice Aide scope.

Must have Florida CNA license, valid driver’s license; 1–3 years' training/experience, LTC preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
• Florida driver’s license optional unless driving to other facilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care/home maintenance activities per the Hospice Aide Plan of Care.
• Recognizes and reports unusual conditions or behaviors to the nurse.
• Maintains confidentiality in care of the patient/family.
• Works within the Hospice Aide scope of practice at all times.
