Job summary

Tidewell Hospice, part of Empath Health, seeks a caring CNA to support patients in Southwest Florida in a Monday–Friday 8a–5p schedule, covering Sarasota/Venice area. The role requires Florida CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, and 1–3 years of experience, with a preference for long-term care background.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
• Valid Florida State Driver’s License.
• One to Three Years of training and/or experience required.
• One year of experience in a long term care facility strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and home maintenance activities per care plan.
• Recognize and report unusual conditions to the nurse or supervisory nurse.
• Maintain utmost respect for confidentiality in patient/family care.
• Follow Hospice Aide Plan of Care and scope of practice at all times.
