Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Northbrook, IL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patients with daily living activities and personal care in their homes and community settings.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, focusing on patient comfort, safety, and dignity while collaborating with the Case Manager. A state CNA certification and active registry listing are required, plus a valid driver's license and insured vehicle.

Qualifications

• State-certified nurse aide with active registry listing.
• Must be 18+ years old and meet state requirements.
• Valid driver's license with insured vehicle.
• Must be listed on state aide registry with a clear record.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linens.
• Assist in dressing and undressing patients.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals, including shopping.
• Assist in feeding patients.
• Monitor patient's skin to prevent tissue breakdown.
• Report patient condition and changes to the Case Manager.

Qualifications:

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide
• List on the state aide registry with a clear record able to deliver care to patients
• 18 years of age unless state law dictates otherwise
• Valid driver's license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements

What You'll Do:
