Job summary

JourneyCare Hospice is seeking dedicated CNAs to join our compassionate team in Chicago. We offer competitive salaries, immediate openings, generous time off, 401(k) with match, and more.

As a Hospice CNA you will provide personal care, assist patients with dressing, meals, and hygiene, and report changes to the Case Manager. Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide.
• Listed on the state aide registry with a clear record.
• 18 years of age unless state law dictates otherwise.
• Valid driver’s license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linens.
• Assisting in dressing and undressing patients.
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including shopping.
• Reporting on patient’s condition and significant changes to the Case Manager.
