Job summary

JourneyCare Hospice is seeking CNAs to join our growing team in Illinois. The role offers a competitive hourly wage up to $26 based on experience, with strong benefits and a 401(k) match.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays, in Long Grove/Buffalo Grove, IL, with mileage reimbursement and tuition assistance. Join a supportive culture with opportunities for advancement, paid holidays, and ongoing education certification benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide.
• Listed on the state aide registry with a clear record to deliver patient care.
• Must be 18 years of age or older as required by state law.
• Valid driver’s license with an insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linens.
• Assisting in dressing and undressing patients.
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including shopping.
• Assisting in feeding the patient.
• Providing proper care and observation of patient’s skin to prevent tissue breakdown.
• Reporting on patient’s condition and changes to the Case Manager.

What You’ll Do:
