Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide home care services in the Williamston area. Schedule includes Monday-Wednesday-Friday 9am-12:30am, Tuesday and Thursday 11am-3pm, with duties focused on direct patient care in the client’s residence and EVV timekeeping.

As a CNA, you will assist with personal hygiene, transfers, meals, companionship, and basic nursing tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS or comparable state requirements.
• Possess effective communication skills to read, write and follow directions.
• Demonstrate compassion and respectful patient care.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing as required by patient care.
• Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality in home care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned in the patient’s home.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks (bathing, grooming, mouth care).
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care under supervision of RN or OT/PT.
• Prepare meals considering client dietary preferences and restrictions.
• Provide companionship and age-appropriate activities.
• Perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and EVV timekeeping.
• Report changes in the client’s condition promptly.
