Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist patients in their own homes in Bellefonte or State College. You’ll provide daily living support, companionship, and help navigate care with our nursing team.

This position offers flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, PRN), competitive pay, daily pay option, and one-on-one patient care. Shift is Monday to Friday days, with responsibilities including light housekeeping, meal prep, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license or HHA certificate or completion of our Home Health Aide Training Program.
• Attention to detail and ability to document notes regarding a patient’s condition.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as light housekeeping, preparing meals, assisting with personal hygiene, and grocery shopping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Teach patients essential self-care skills, as needed.
• Help the patient navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to our nursing team, when appropriate.
