Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide compassionate, in-home care across Altoona, Holidaysburg, Everett, or Bedford. This role involves dayshift hours Monday–Friday with full-time, part-time, or PRN options and emphasis on one-on-one patient care.

You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support patients in navigating the healthcare system. A CNA certification and CPR are required, along with a valid driver’s license and reliable

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Attention to detail; able to follow instructions and document notes.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Teach patients essential self-care skills as needed.
• Coordinate with nursing team and schedule appointments for patients.

As a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), you will:

• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as light housekeeping, preparing meals, assisting with personal hygiene, and grocery shopping


• Provide companionship and conversation


• Teach patients essential self-care skills, as needed


• Help the patient navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to our nursing team, when appropriate

To qualify for a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) with us, you will need:

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Certification License


• Current CPR


• Attention to detail; able to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient’s condition


• Active Driver's License and reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations
