Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to assist patients in Bellefonte or State College with daily living activities and personal care. You will provide companionship and support patients in maintaining independence at home, delivering compassionate, respectful care in a one-on-one setting.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license or HHA certificate or completion of our Home Health Aide training program.
• Attention to detail; follow instructions and document notes about patient conditions.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as light housekeeping, meal prep, personal hygiene, and shopping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Teach patients essential self-care skills as needed.
• Help patients navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to the nursing team.

As aHome Health Aides (HHA), you will:

• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as light housekeeping, preparing meals, assisting with personal hygiene, and grocery shopping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Teach patients essential self-care skills, as needed
• Help the patient navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to our nursing team, when appropriate

To qualify for aHome Health Aides (HHA) position with us, you will need:

• Active CNA License OR HHA Certificate of completion from a credited program OR Completion of our Home Health Aide Training Program.
• Attention to detail; able to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient’s condition
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations
