Job summary

Preferred Private Care in Florida is seeking compassionate CNAs or HHAs to join our home-based care team serving seniors across Indian River County. You will support clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, light meals, and mobility assistance, helping them live with dignity in their own homes.

Flexible shifts, weekly pay, and a supportive office staff ensure a positive workplace. Applicants must hold a Florida CNA license or HHA certification, CPR, and pass a Level II

Qualifications

• Active Florida CNA license or Home Health Aide certification (75 Hours minimum).
• Valid CPR certification.
• Must have a Level II background screening (AHCA-compliant) https://info.flclearinghouse.com.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Must be punctual, trustworthy, and have a genuine desire to help others.
• Prior experience with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Remind clients to take medications (no medication administration).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking.
• Observe and report changes in condition or behavior.
• Ensure a safe and clean home environment.
