Job summary

Golden Healthcare Services Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA/HHA to join our Chicago team. This role provides hands-on personal care to patients in their homes, promoting dignity and independence.

You will assist with bathing, mobility, meals, monitoring health, and documentation, while maintaining safety and clear communication with supervising staff. A valid Illinois CNA or HHA certification is required; experience in home health is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA or HHA certification in Illinois.
• Experience in home health, long-term care, or related healthcare setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Must pass a background check and meet state compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Monitor and report changes in patient health, behavior, or condition to supervising staff
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional monitoring
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean patient environment
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
