Qualifications

• CPR & First Aid certified.

• Valid driver’s license and car insurance, reliable vehicle.
• One year full-time experience in personal care or institutional setting, or direct client care in home care within the last five years.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Attends initial training and continuing education.
• Criminal history check completed before employment.
• Medically cleared for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations.
• Experience as a caregiver or similar field.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Certifications that may apply.

Responsibilities

• Must adhere to the client’s plan of care and agency policies.
• Report abuse, neglect, exploitation, etc. according to agency guidelines.
• Use proper body mechanics and follow infection control procedures.
• Provide safe and professional home care services including activities of daily living.
• Attend a minimum number of trainings and continuing education hours annually.
• Ensure reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school graduate or GED
• CPR & First Aid certified.
• Recent TB
• Valid DL and car insurance, reliable vehicle
• Shall have one year-full-time experience in personal care or an institutional setting, such as a hospital or nursing home, OR Shall have one-year full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home care agency setting.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Attends a minimum of (5) initial training upon pre-employment.
• Attends a minimum of (5) hours of continuing education training annually.
• Must have a criminal history check conducted prior to being offered work with this agency.
• Is medically cleared for communicable diseases and has all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant contact.
• Experience working as a caregiver or similar field
