Job summary

Homewatch Caregivers Of Bakersfield is seeking a full-time caregiver to provide compassionate in-home senior care in Bakersfield, with flexible shifts and a supportive team to help you grow.

You will assist with personal care, meals, medications reminders, and companionship, while maintaining safety, dignity, and independence for clients; CPR/First Aid certification preferred, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, PCA, or CNA preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to earn it soon).
• Housekeeping, meal prep, and safe transfer techniques.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care & Dignity – Support bathing, dressing, grooming, and safe mobility.
• Healthy Meals & Home Care – Cook simple, nutritious meals; keep living spaces clean and organized.
• Medication & Wellness – Provide timely reminders and track basic health cues.
• Active Companionship – Chat, play games, take walks, and accompany clients on errands or appointments.
• Light Exercise Support – Assist with stretches or physical-therapy routines as directed by professionals.
