Homewatch CareGivers of Southwest Broward is seeking a part-time Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality in-home care in Broward County, Florida. You will work with a compassionate care team to deliver individualized support, including personal care, companionship, and medication reminders.

The role offers flexible scheduling across weekdays, weekends, and overnights, with ongoing online training and a supportive team environment dedicated to client

Qualifications

• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA certification in Florida.
• Strong English and Spanish communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual work ethic.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the care team.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe living space.
• Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans.

Role Overview

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Homewatch CareGivers, you will provide exceptional in-home care to patients throughout Broward County, Florida. In this role, you will work closely with our care team to ensure each patient receives personalized, compassionate support tailored to their needs. This position offers part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling, including weekdays, weekends, and overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• Provide companionship and emotional support, creating a safe and positive environment
• Monitor patients’ condition and report any changes to the care team promptly
• Perform light housekeeping to help maintain a clean and safe living space
• Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans

Qualifications

• You’re a great fit if you have the following:
• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA certification in the state of Florida
• Strong English and Spanish communication skills
• Compassionate, patient, and service-oriented attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual work ethic
• CPR certification
• Minimum of 12 non-expired in-service training hours
