Job summary

Young at Heart Home Care in Broward County, FL is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing team, delivering one-on-one care in clients' homes across Broward County.

We offer day and night shifts, flexible schedules, and a supportive environment where empathy, reliability, and professionalism are valued. Pay ranges from $17 to $19 per hour, with emphasis on safety, dignity, and independence for every client.

Qualifications

• Active HHA certificate or CNA credential.
• At least 3 years of hands-on caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs including bathing, grooming and hygiene.
• Support safe transfers, mobility and fall prevention.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities.
• Assist with meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping as needed.
• Monitor client conditions and report changes to the care team.

What You Will Do

• Personalized Support: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.

• Companionship: Provide warm emotional support and engaging conversation.
• Household Assistance: Prepare tailored meals, give timely medication reminders, and handle light housekeeping centered around the client's living space.
• Health Monitoring: Carefully observe and report any changes in client conditions to the care team.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Active HHA certificate or CNA credential.
• At least 3 years of hands-on caregiving experience.
• Reliable and dependable transportation.
• Strong communication skills and genuine empathy.
• High standards of professionalism, punctuality, and trust.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Prior experience delivering private, one-on-one home care.
