Job summary
Homewatch CareGivers in Broward County, FL seeks compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) or CNAs for in-home patient care. This role offers part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling, including weekdays, weekends, and overnight shifts, to support patients in their homes.
You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, monitor health, perform light housekeeping, and collaborate with the care team to implement personalized care plans.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Strong English and Spanish communication skills.
- CPR certification.
- Minimum of 12 non-expired in-service training hours.
- Compassionate, patient, and service-oriented attitude.”
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, creating a safe and positive environment.
- Monitor patients' condition and report any changes to the care team promptly.
- Perform light housekeeping to help maintain a clean and safe living space.
- Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans.
