Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of Southwest Broward is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care across Broward County, Florida.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling including weekdays, weekends, and overnight shifts. You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, monitor patient condition, and collaborate with the care team to tailor care plans.

Qualifications

• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA certification in Florida.
• English and Spanish communication skills.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 12 non-expired in-service training hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs including personal care, meals, and meds reminders.
• Provide companionship and emotional support for a safe, positive environment.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the care team.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe home.
• Collaborate with the care team to implement care plans.

Role Overview

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Homewatch CareGivers, you will provide exceptional in-home care to patients throughout Broward County, Florida. In this role, you will work closely with our care team to ensure each patient receives personalized, compassionate support tailored to their needs. This position offers part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling, including weekdays, weekends, and overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• Provide companionship and emotional support, creating a safe and positive environment
• Monitor patients’ condition and report any changes to the care team promptly
• Perform light housekeeping to help maintain a clean and safe living space
• Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans

Qualifications

• You’re a great fit if you have the following:
• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA certification in the state of Florida
• Strong English and Spanish communication skills
• Compassionate, patient, and service-oriented attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual work ethic
• CPR certification
• Minimum of 12 non-expired in-service training hours
