Job summary

CareGivers America in Philadelphia is seeking a Pediatric Caregiver to provide one-on-one in-home support for children, with paid training provided and opportunities for growth. No experience is required as we will train you to become a certified Home Health Aide (HHA).

You will assist with daily living tasks, support IEPs/BIPs, and help create structured activities that promote skill development in a safe home environment.

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certificate preferred
• Willingness to work in Philadelphia
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients location

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed
• Implement and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BIPs)
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a consistent, safe environment
• Frequent standing and walking, assisting members with daily activities, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
