Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Tennessee is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide to provide hands-on personal care to patients under supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, and daily living activities, as well as monitoring vital signs and documenting changes for the supervising nurse.

The ideal candidate will hold a state CNA certification, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license, with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide.
• State-required CNA certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have CPR certification or equivalent.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on personal care including baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linens, and assistance with dressing.
• Taking and recording vital signs as ordered (temperature, pulse, resp., BP).
• Performing simple procedures as an extension of nursing services as ordered by the supervising clinician.
