Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Tennessee is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on personal care to patients in their homes. Responsibilities include baths, grooming, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities under the supervision of a nurse.

Qualifications include state CNA certification, CPR, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license. The role requires 18+ years of age and adherence to training requirements and agency regulations.

Qualifications

Certified nursing assistant per state requirements.
CPR certification current.
At least 18 years of age.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
Meets training requirements and completes them.

Responsibilities

Providing hands-on personal care including baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, dressing changes, skin care and prevention of skin breakdown, toileting assistance, and maintaining clean living areas.
Taking and recording vital signs as ordered (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) with demonstrated competency.
Performing simple procedures as an extension of nursing services with competency.
Assisting patients in self-administration of medication.
Reporting on patient condition and significant changes to the supervising nurse or case manager.
