Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide.
• Meets the training requirements and successfully completes them.

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on personal care including baths, oral hygiene, toileting assistance, and basic grooming.
• Taking and recording temperatures and other vital signs as ordered.
• Performing simple procedures under nursing supervision as trained.
• Assisting patients with self-administration of medication.
• Reporting changes in patient condition to the nurse or case manager.
