Addus Homecare is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home personal care to patients in Tennessee. You will perform baths, grooming, mobility assistance, and ensure a clean living environment while following the supervising clinician's directions.

Ideal candidates are certified nurse aides, possess CPR certification, and have reliable transportation. We value a caring, patient-focused approach and a commitment to high-quality in-home care.

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aid.
• Meets the training requirements and successfully completes them.
• At least 18 years of age.
• CPR certification or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on personal care including baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen, assisting with dressing, skin care, toileting, and maintaining living area.
• Taking and recording temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered (with competency).
• Performing simple nursing procedures as ordered (with competency).
• Assisting patients in self-administration of medications.
• Reporting on patient condition and changes to the nurse or case manager.
