Job summary

Majestic Care of Cedar Village is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate care team. The CNA will provide direct hands-on nursing care to residents, assisting with daily living activities and helping residents maintain independence.

Qualified CNAs must be state-certified, active, and in good standing. The role emphasizes dignity, privacy, infection control, and teamwork within our community nursing program.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state employed; active, in good standing.
• Ability to assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and mobility.
• Commitment to infection control and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Respond to call lights to ensure comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents by ambulation or wheelchair within the community.
• Report significant findings to the nurse immediately.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges for smooth transitions.
• Safekeep residents' personal possessions and maintain room cleanliness.
• Follow infection control techniques and respect privacy and confidentiality.
• Provide restorative care to prevent deterioration and promote function.
• Engage with residents and families to support adjustment to the community.
