Job summary

Majestic Care of Middletown is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and deliver direct hands-on nursing care to residents daily. The CNA helps residents achieve the highest possible level of function while supporting a normal lifestyle.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, responding to call lights, transporting residents, and ensuring safety, privacy, and infection control. Certification must be active and in good standing to qualify.

Qualifications

• Certified and state tested as a CNA in the state employed; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Respond to call lights to provide comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents by ambulation or wheelchair within the community.
• Report significant findings to the nurse immediately.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges for smooth transitions.
• Safekeep residents' personal possessions and keep rooms neat and safe.
• Follow infection control techniques and respect residents' privacy.
