Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program
• State registered CNA license

Responsibilities

• Provides quality patient care including comfort, hygiene, safety, transport, and nutrition/elimination needs.
• Promptly answers call lights and responds to patient needs.
• Reports patient status changes to the RN accurately and promptly.
• Documents vital signs, input/output, nutrition, hygiene, weights, and care performed.
• Maintains thorough, confidential patient charts and records.
• Assists with delegated patient care tasks under nurse supervision.
• Provides person-centered care with empathy, teamwork, and respect.
• Raises concerns about hazards or errors to the health care team.
