Job summary

Liberty Care and Rehabilitation Center in Kentucky seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our resident-centered team. You will provide direct care under licensed supervision, promoting comfort, dignity, and safety for residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, taking vital signs, and supporting a respectful, responsive care environment. We value teamwork, reliability, and a genuine commitment to quality of life for every resident.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for residents.
• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, and other information.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and respond to call lights promptly.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Participate in other special projects and duties as assigned.
