Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state where the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADLs and support residents within the plan of care.
• Assist with bed linen changes and maintain room cleanliness.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and other care data.
• Support resident rights and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Respond to call lights promptly and aid residents as needed.
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff.
