Signature HealthCARE LLC in Kentucky is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed nursing personnel. You will support ADLs, promote a compassionate environment, and help maintain residents' comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant certification from the state where the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently with personal integrity and work well with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
