Job summary

Brio Living Services in Chelsea, MI is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for a full-time night role at the Kresge Nursing & Rehabilitation facility.

You will provide direct resident care, assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and accompany residents with comfort and companionship in a compassionate, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Michigan CNA Certification (a must!)
• Experience caring for the elderly is a plus; we’ll teach you if not
• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow directions
• Physical ability to lift, stand, bend, transfer, stretch, walk, push and pull

Responsibilities

• Provide Hands-On Care – assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Support Mealtime – help residents enjoy meals and stay hydrated
• Keep Things Moving – assist mobility and safe transfers
• Perform Vital Checks – measure and record vital signs, weight, intake/output
• Maintain Comfort & Care – keep rooms tidy and well-stocked
• Provide Responsive Support – answer call lights promptly with kindness
• Monitor with Watchful Eyes – report changes to leadership ASAP
• Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism – maintain confidentiality and care quality

Schedule: Full Time | 36 hours per week | 6:30pm -7:00am | No Scheduling Mandation

Pay Range: $22.50 - $26.21/hr. (this rate is inclusive of the $3.40/hr. Michigan Skilled Nursing Facility Direct Care Worker Pass-Through approved rate; current approval through September 30, 2026)

Shift Premiums: 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm $ 1.00 | 10:31 pm - 7:00 am $ 0.75 | Weekend (Fri 10:31 pm - Sun 11:00 pm) $ 1.00

What You’ll Do in This Role: As a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in our skilled nursing community, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality care. From assisting with daily activities to providing comfort and companionship, your work will make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities
