Job summary

Brio Living Services in Chelsea, MI is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for a night shift (6:30pm–7:00am) at Kresge Nursing & Rehabilitation. You will provide hands-on nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and communicate changes to the care team.

You will support care plans, mentor nursing staff, and ensure documentation and infection control standards are met in a skilled nursing setting. Join a team dedicated to resident comfort and quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN).
• Active State of Michigan RN License.
• CPR certification required or willing to obtain upon hire.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the frail and elderly.
• Tasks involving more than 50 lbs. require assistance or assistive equipment for safe performance.

Schedule: Full-Time 36 hours/week | 6:30pm-7:00am | Every Other Weekend Rotation
Pay Range: Pay range: $40.01 - $47.44/hr. (this rate is inclusive of the $3.40/hr. Michigan Skilled Nursing Facility Direct Care Worker Pass-Through approved rate; current approval through September 30, 2026)

Shift Premiums: Beginning 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm, $1:90 | Beginning 10:31 pm -7 am, $1.35 | Weekend Fri, 10:31 pm – Sun 11:00 pm, $1.00.

What You’ll Do:

As a Registered Nurse at Kresge Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, you’ll provide direct, hands‑on nursing care focused on quality, treatment, and resident comfort. You’ll administer medications, perform treatments, monitor vital signs, and assess residents to identify changes in condition, ensuring timely communication with the care team.
In this role, you’ll observe and respond to residents’ needs, support care plan updates, and help maintain a safe, compliant environment through proper documentation and infection control practices. You’ll also play a key role in supporting and guiding nursing assistants while helping ensure smooth daily operations, including admissions and discharges.
Your clinical expertise and attention to detail will help deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for each resident while maintaining the standards of care expected in a skilled nursing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Safety and Infection Control – Follow all protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Prevent Spread of Illness – Adhere to proper infection control procedures at all times.
• Engage in Ongoing Education – Maintain certifications and stay current with best practices.
