Holland Home is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide direct, hands-on care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. CNAs support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs under licensed staff supervision, emphasizing dignity, safety, and individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Current CNA license in good standing (state-required).
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Memory care experience preferred.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Strong communication, observation and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, dependable and team-oriented.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and assist residents up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, feeding, mobility.
• Measure and document vital signs; report changes to nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support, reassurance and companionship to residents.
• Promote resident independence while ensuring safety and dignity.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control and safety guidelines.
• Document care provided per facility policies and CMS requirements.
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Uphold resident rights and comply with state regulations and facility standards.

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct, hands-on care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. This role supports residents’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs while maintaining comfort, safety, and adherence to individualized care plans in a respectful and supportive environment.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, feeding, and mobility
• Measure and document vital signs and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff
• Provide emotional support, reassurance, and companionship to residents
• Promote resident independence while ensuring safety and dignity
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment following infection control and safety guidelines
• Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies and CMS requirements
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
