Job summary

Holland Lake Rehabilitation & Wellness Center in Weatherford, TX is seeking compassionate CNAs to join a dedicated healthcare team. Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification in Texas.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved nurse assistant training program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report abnormalities in patient condition.
• Provide mobility assistance and support physical therapy exercises as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid CNA certification in Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, reporting any abnormalities to nursing staff.
• Provide mobility assistance, including helping patients move safely within their environment and supporting physical therapy exercises as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by following infection control protocols and hospital policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and compassionate care.

The CNA utilizes strong interpersonal skills daily to build trust and rapport with patients, ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met with empathy and respect. Attention to detail is critical when monitoring vital signs and observing changes in patient conditions, enabling timely communication with the healthcare team.
