Volunteers of America - National Services in Louisville is seeking a CNA to deliver daily living support to PACE participants in the Day Center and in participant homes. You will assist with personal care, meals, medication reminders, and safety, under supervision.

Qualifications include CPR certification, at least one year of elder care experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, immunizations, and a valid driver’s license. Travel to participant homes is required.

Formación

• CPR certification required.
• At least 1 year experience with frail or elderly.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Medical clearance for communicable diseases and immunizations.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation; willing to travel to participant homes.

Responsabilidades

• Consult daily with Home Care Coordinator to be updated on changes in participant status and plan of care.
• Assist participants in home with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, feeding) and in the Day Center.
• Assist participants with medications normally self-administered and monitor health status.
• Prepare meals and assist with prescribed diets; assist with bathroom needs and mobility.
• Support Day Center activities and maintain clean, orderly day rooms and meal areas.
