Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Nurse Aide to support registered nurses in delivering patient-centered care, including hygiene, feeding, mobility and daily activities.

You will document vital signs, assist with admissions and discharges under RN supervision, and maintain cleanliness and safety. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and BLS within 45 days.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsabilités

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Measure and document vital signs and other patient data in the EMR.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge under RN supervision.
• Collect urine, stool, and sputum specimens as directed and perform point-of-care testing as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and hand hygiene.
• Position and transport patients using proper technique and equipment.
• Maintain stock and clean nursing area and assist with duties as directed.
