Aurora Health Care in Green Bay, Wisconsin seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant to support the care team. You will assist with daily patient care, monitor vitals, and help with mobility and daily activities in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Under the supervision of RNs, you will document measurements in the EMR, communicate patient needs, and participate in admission, transfer, and discharge tasks while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills are required.
• Excellent oral and written communication is essential.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to set priorities are needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Document vitals and patient data in the EMR (blood pressures, temperature, pulse, respiration, I&O, daily weights).
• Perform purposeful rounding and promptly communicate observations to the RN.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge tasks and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed and maintain competency.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning equipment, and transporting duties as required.
• Support diet review and tray setup/removal and maintain skin care and positioning for patients.
